WHO WE ARE
The HRX Project is a peer-led grassroots organization that believes individuals who use drugs are the experts of their own experience and deserve supportive programs and tools that "meet them where they're at." Through harm reduction strategies, we work to promote safer drug use to prevent HIV, hepatitis C, and overdose.
HARM REDUCTION SAVES LIVES
Harm reduction is a movement and practice to reduce negative consequences associated with drug use without judgement. Stigma and the War on Drags continue to create barriers for folks who use drugs from accessing the support and tools they need. That's why our work is peer led and informed to ensure our practices embrace the wide spectrum of Harm Reduction strategies and are non-judgmental, compassionate and person-centered.
